Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification preferred.
• 2–8 years of professional experience in land development civil engineering.
• Experience preparing civil site plans (site layout, utilities, grading & drainage, erosion control, stormwater).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design project components using office software, modeling tools, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform engineering calculations and problem-solving using formulas and computer tools.
• Prepare material specifications through research and equipment catalogs.
• Develop design details and complete plan sets.
• Conduct research and prepare objective summary reports for project completion.
• Assist in preparing engineering and construction cost estimates.
• Perform field observations, inspections, and data collection as directed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal design teams under senior staff guidance.
