Job summary

Timmons Group is seeking Civil Project Engineers at multiple levels to join our Land Development groups in Richmond, VA. You will work on residential, commercial, and public land development projects, guiding site plans from concept through approvals with a team of engineers and a project manager.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering degree, EIT, and 2–8 years of experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or closely related field.
• EIT certification required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design portions of a project using Civil 3D and office software.
• Perform calculations and problem solving for designs.
• Prepare specifications and materials lists for site development.
• Develop design details and plan sets.
• Support cost estimates and field observations.
• Communicate with client staff and internal teams.
