Require 3+ years as a civil estimator and proficiency with Bid-To-Win, HeavyBid, AutoCAD, AGTEK and Excel. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for presenting to senior management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a civil estimator.
• Proven track record estimating a range of civil projects (excavation, sitework, utilities).
• Proficient in Bid-To-Win, HeavyBid, AutoCAD, AGTEK and Excel.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Eye for detail is absolutely essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Orchestrate the estimating & bid processes for our civil projects.
• Identify labor, materials, and time requirements by studying proposals and plans.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare bid packages and present final estimates to senior management.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when necessary.
• Provide value engineering recommendations.
• Maintain historical cost data and develop estimating templates and tools.
