Talent With Heart in Nashville, TN is seeking a Civil Preconstruction Estimator to lead our preconstruction efforts for civil projects. You will analyze drawings, specs, and docs to build detailed cost estimates and drive the bid process.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in civil construction estimation, proficiency with Bid-To-Win, HeavyBid, AutoCAD, AGTEK and Excel, and strong communication and negotiation skills. We offer competitive compensation, bonus, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an estimator in civil construction.
• Proven track record estimating a range of civil projects (excavation, sitework, utilities).
• Proficient in Bid-To-Win, HeavyBid, AutoCAD, AGTEK, Excel.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsabilités

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Orchestrate the estimating & bid processes for civil projects.
• Identify labor, materials, and time requirements by studying proposals and plans.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare bid packages and present final estimates to senior management.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when necessary.
• Provide value engineering recommendations.
• Maintain historical cost data and develop estimating templates and tools.
