Job summary

Jobot is a Denver-based law firm seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join our team. The role involves handling a broad civil and criminal docket with a focus on efficiency, strategy, and thorough discovery practices.

You will draft pleadings, conduct in-depth legal research, and manage cases from initial assessment through trial, in collaboration with senior attorneys. A flexible work arrangement with remote options is available to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of litigation experience in a law firm environment.
• Colorado licensure (state and federal courts), or ability to quickly become licensed, required.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Experience taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations is preferred.
• Trial experience—civil and/or criminal is a significant plus.
• Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft substantive pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct rigorous legal research and develop strategic legal positions.
• Manage litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution.
• Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and coordinating document production.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and appeals.
• Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy, witness preparation, and litigation planning.
