Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Mason & Hanger team onsite in Virginia.

This internship focuses on learning design calculations, CAD/CIM tools, cost estimates, and project submittals while complying with data privacy and security requirements. US citizenship is required, and successful drug/background screening is expected.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a Civil Engineering Intern, to join our Mason & Hanger team.

As the Civil EngineeringIntern, here’s the work you’ll do:

• Perform design calculations under supervision of engineers.
• Incorporate marked up drawings into CAD/Civil3D/OpenSite Designer platforms.
• Assist in cost estimate preparation.
• Assist in assembly of project submittals.
• Complying with data protection principles while handling personal, protected and / or Covered Defense Information on behalf of Day & Zimmermann. Data Handlers should be trained to follow documented policies, standard operating procedures and secure practices associated with protecting trusted employee and customer data.
