The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) is a full-service civil engineering firm seeking a Civil Group Manager to lead the Cranberry Township, PA office.

You will guide the Civil Engineering Group, drive site-civil and land development projects, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor engineers and project managers. The role emphasizes client relationships, business development, and technical excellence, ensuring profitable project delivery across multiple active projects while fostering growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, site development, land development, and permitting.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong business development, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee civil engineering and land development projects.
• Monitor project health, budgets, schedules, and client satisfaction.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Review and approve engineering plans, specifications, reports, and construction documents.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably, and in compliance with company standards.
• Coach and support Project Managers to improve project execution and financial performance.
• Maintain direct involvement in key projects to ensure successful delivery and technical excellence.
