Job summary

Wagman is seeking a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer Intern for our Heavy Civil team. You will report to field supervision and support the engineering team on assigned projects, assisting with plans, quantities, procurement, and scheduling while ensuring work progress and safety compliance.

The candidate should be pursuing a B.S. in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering, with strong communication and independent work capabilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Strong ability to follow instructions and work with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing work plans and project documents.
• Track and record field production quantities.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs for concrete and earthwork operations.
• Coordinate subcontractor work and procure materials for upcoming tasks.
• Perform schedule updates and report progress to project team.
• Review shop drawings, draft RFIs, and assist with submittals.
