Wagman, Inc. is seeking Civil/Geotechnical Engineer Interns in the York, PA area for a May 2027 start. Interns join the Heavy Civil team, working under supervision on civil construction tasks in both office and field settings.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a B.S. in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering, with willingness to work regionally in PA. Prior internships are a plus, but not required, and strong communication with follow-through is essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Previous construction or internship is a plus, not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and take instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing work plans and tracking field production quantities.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs for concrete and earthwork operations.
• Coordinate subcontractor work and procure materials/equipment for upcoming work.
• Perform schedule updates and generate project progress reports.
• Perform document control tracking and processing; takeoffs.
• Investigate problems and propose solutions.
• Prepare detailed requisitions for materials and subcontracts.
• Interpret plans and details for contractors; review shop drawings and RFIs.
