Picou Group Contractors in Louisiana seeks an experienced Civil Field Supervisor to lead civil crews on projects between Braithwaite and Gramercy. You will coordinate formwork, excavation, and concrete activities while ensuring safety and quality.

Ideal candidates will guide crews, review plans, and maintain schedules in alignment with drawings and specifications. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in our safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership and team supervision experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and elevations.
• Solid knowledge of concrete work, formwork, excavation, and safety coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily work activities for civil carpenters, finishers, operators, and crews.
• Review drawings, specifications, layout, and elevations with the crew.
• Oversee excavation, formwork, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, and related tasks.
• Lead daily safety discussions and ensure site procedures and permits are followed.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment with project management.
• Check completed work for quality and address deficiencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, crew time, quantities, and progress updates.
• Communicate field changes, delays, material needs, and issues to management.
