Picou Group Contractors is seeking a skilled Civil Carpenter for projects between Braithwaite and Gramercy, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will build and install concrete forms in industrial environments, following project drawings and safety standards.

This role supports the civil construction crew on-site. Qualifications include a valid TWIC card, ability to pass drug and alcohol testing, and reliable transportation to sites in LA.

Qualifications

• Ability to read construction drawings and interpret layouts.
• Accurate measurement, leveling, and alignment of formwork.
• Experience installing and securing concrete forms for foundations and structures.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install concrete forms for foundations, slabs, walls, and other civil structures.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, dimensions, and layout instructions.
• Set, align, level, and brace formwork to meet project requirements.
• Inspect forms for proper dimensions, alignment, and stability before concrete placement.
• Assist concrete crews during placement and remove formwork when authorized.
• Clean, organize, and maintain reusable forms, materials, and carpentry tools.
• Coordinate with concrete finishers, equipment operators, and supervisors to complete work efficiently.
• Follow company and site-specific safety procedures and maintain orderly work areas.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Carpenter to join our team for projects between Braithwaite and Gramercy, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have experience building and installing concrete formwork in a construction or industrial environment and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This role involves performing civil carpentry work in accordance with project drawings and specifications while supporting the civil construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
