Ideal candidates have experience in industrial or civil construction, can read drawings, and work well with a crew. Valid TWIC, ability to pass drug tests, and reliable transportation to job sites are required.

Responsibilities

• Place, spread, level, and finish concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, and other civil structures.
• Screed, float, and trowel concrete to achieve the required elevation, slope, and surface finish.
• Check forms and work areas before concrete placement.
• Use hand tools and power finishing equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist with joint installation, curing, and protection of finished concrete.
• Coordinate with carpenters, equipment operators, and supervisors to complete work efficiently.
• Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Follow company and site-specific safety procedures.

We are seeking a skilled Civil Concrete Finisher to join our team for projects between Braithwaite and Gramercy, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have experience placing and finishing concrete in a construction or industrial environment and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This role involves completing concrete work in accordance with project specifications while working closely with the civil construction crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Place, spread, level, and finish concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, and other civil structures.
• Screed, float, and trowel concrete to achieve the required elevation, slope, and surface finish.
• Check forms and work areas before concrete placement.
• Use hand tools and power finishing equipment safely and effectively.
