• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned heavy equipment within established training and authorization.
• Perform excavation, grading, backfilling, and material handling as directed.
• Follow layout, grade, and elevation instructions to support accurate civil construction work.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and promptly report equipment defects or maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with spotters, ground crews, and supervisors to maintain safe equipment operations.
• Maintain awareness of underground utilities, overhead obstructions, nearby structures, and personnel.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and orderly.
• Follow company and site-specific safety procedures.
