Job summary

WWC Engineering is seeking motivated Civil and Environmental Engineering students for its Summer 2027 Internship Program. You will collaborate with engineers, surveyors, geologists, and technical staff on meaningful projects across our service regions.

This hands-on internship covers engineering design, construction inspection, environmental assessment, surveying, regulatory compliance, and technical writing, providing real-world experience and mentorship from licensed professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year civil or environmental program.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn design software and field work.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering, surveying, and staff with day-to-day project work.
• Perform preliminary designs and calculations under supervision.
• Learn Civil3D and other design software.
• Collect field data and document site observations.
• Support technical reports and regulatory permit applications.
• Participate in environmental and regulatory compliance tasks.
