Job summary

WWC Engineering is seeking motivated Civil and Environmental Engineering students to join our Summer 2027 Internship Program as Engineering Interns. You will work with engineers, surveyors, geologists, and staff on meaningful projects that support communities across our service region.

This internship provides hands-on experience in engineering design, construction inspection, environmental assessment, surveying, regulatory compliance, and technical writing, with exposure to real-world projects

Qualifications

• Current student enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year program in Civil or Environmental disciplines.
• Exposure to Civil/Environmental design, surveying, and regulatory concepts is expected.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers, surveyors, and staff on day-to-day project tasks.
• Perform preliminary designs and calculations under supervision.
• Learn Autodesk Civil3D and other design tools.
• Collect field data including inspections, surveying, and photos.
• Contribute to regulatory permits and technical reports.
