Jobot in Colorado Springs is seeking a Civil Engineering Team Lead to join our growing firm. You will lead a team of 2–6 engineers, delegate tasks, manage workload, and mentor junior staff through meaningful feedback and performance reviews.

You will oversee land development projects end to end, including QA/QC, budget control, schedule management, and technical review of plans, estimates, and calculations. This is a hands-on leadership role with client and regulator collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience in land development.
• Colorado PE license preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and utility design.
• Ability to lead teams and manage projects.
• Familiarity with Colorado regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2 to 6 engineers, delegating tasks and mentoring staff.
• Manage land development projects end to end, including QA/QC and budgets.
• Serve as primary technical resource, ensuring designs meet criteria.
• Build relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, municipalities and review entities.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and implementing efficient workflows.
• Sign and seal drawings prepared under supervision.
