Job summary

Ilocatum, a Colorado-based civil engineering firm, is seeking a Land Development Civil Engineering Team Lead (PE) in Centennial, CO. This full-time, direct-hire role offers ownership of projects from concept to completion and leadership of a 2-6 person team.

You will supervise design, grading, drainage, utilities and site plans, review drawings and cost estimates, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with municipalities and agencies to secure approvals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience focused on land development.
• Strong design skills in grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience reviewing construction plans, cost estimates, calculations, and reports.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience working with municipalities and review agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2-6 engineers and designers, guiding workload and deliverables.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Design Engineers with feedback and direction.
• Conduct performance reviews and monitor staff capabilities.
• Maintain utilization targets and overall technical performance.
• Sign and seal drawings prepared under supervision.
• Lead projects or major portions of projects as Production Lead.
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies in meetings and communications.
