Job summary

Bohler's Nashville office is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) for Fall 2026 to gain hands-on experience in site design from concept to construction.

You will work with engineers and project managers, use AutoCAD Civil 3D, assist with permitting, zoning research, and field observations, while developing technical and communication skills in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering or related field.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D; training provided if needed.
• Curiosity and motivation to learn in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with site design projects.
• Assist with AutoCAD Civil 3D design tasks.
• Support permitting and zoning research for developments.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers.
• Visit sites to observe field conditions and participate in team meetings.
