Job summary

Bohler's Nashville office is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in site design, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and work on commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments from concept to construction.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering or related field.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and with a team.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not proficient).
• Curiosity and motivation to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn the day-to-day operations of a civil engineering and site design firm.
• Understand the stages of land development and site design processes.
• Gain hands-on experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D to design concept, grading, stormwater, and utility plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to drive projects forward.
• Research zoning ordinances and coordinate with local jurisdictions.
