Bohler is offering a Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) position in Philadelphia, PA for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in site design and land development while working with engineers, designers, and project managers to support real projects from concept to construction.

You will build skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, participate in design and permitting efforts for commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments, and learn through mentorship and active

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Assist in site design and land development concepts.
• Support AutoCAD Civil 3D design of concept, grading, stormwater, and utilities.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to move projects forward.
• Research zoning ordinances and coordinate with local jurisdictions.
• Visit sites to observe field conditions and understand the engineering process.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute design/process improvement ideas
