Job summary

Bohler in Chalfont, PA is seeking a Summer 2027 Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) to gain hands-on experience from concept to construction. You will work with AutoCAD Civil 3D on site design projects across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

You'll learn the land development process, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and receive mentorship, exposure to zoning research, and opportunities to visit sites.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred; training provided if not yet proficient).

Responsibilities

• Experience day-to-day operations of a civil engineering and site design firm.
• Learn stages of land development and site design process from concept to construction.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design concept, grading, stormwater, utilities, and erosion control plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to drive projects forward.
