Job summary

IMEG, an employee‑owned corporation, is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern in Greenwood Village, CO for a 10–12 week Summer 2027 program. You will work with experienced engineers on analysis, design, field inspections, and permit applications for municipal and transportation projects, gaining hands-on experience across active projects.

The internship offers mentorship, a clear path to full-time roles, and access to IMEG’s MEG AI platform to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Must be enrolled as a student pursuing civil engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of projects per code and IMEG standards.
• Research resources for commercially available equipment.
• Support client relations, project notebooks, and permanent records.
• Coordinate design and schedules with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, and other teams.
• Document design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while tracking progress.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final checks.
• Prepare and issue addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations and other contracted services.
