Job summary

IMEG Corp in Sioux Falls, SD offers a Summer 2027 Civil Engineering Intern program. You will work with experienced engineers on analysis, design, and field tasks, including permit applications and site drainage design.

The internship runs 10–12 weeks and is conducted in-office with a collaborative, ESOP-driven culture. You will gain hands-on experience supporting real project work, learning civil design, and collaborating across disciplines while observing project budgets and client

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years toward a BS in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong interest in design consulting with basic field duties possible.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiar with CAD and BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering analysis, design, field inspections, and reports.
• Assist with permit applications, site drainage and grading designs.
• Support project work within budgets and across disciplines.
• Help with documenting design decisions and project progress.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical teams as needed.
