Job summary

Fehr Graham Engineering & Environmental is seeking Civil Engineering interns to support a wide range of municipal and environmental projects. The role includes field observations, CAD work, and review of engineering plans under a Project Manager’s guidance.

You will gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and learn how state and local regulations are incorporated into design. This internship offers a collaborative, values-driven environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Able to read blueprints or drawings.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to work both independently and in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction observation, measuring quantities and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Potential exposure to surveying on projects.
• Review and edit engineering plans to Fehr Graham standards.
• Office or field work depending on project; CAD tasks and basic design computations.
• Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists and other team members.
• Develop leadership and autonomy through hands‑on project participation.
