Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking Civil Engineering interns for Summer 2027 to work on municipal and environmental projects across the Midwest. You will report to a Project Manager and gain hands-on experience in design, field observation, and regulatory applications.

You will develop CAD skills, learn engineering standards, and contribute to project deliverables in both office and field environments. A four-year Civil Engineering undergrad is required, with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• You must be pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering.
• Familiar with or able to read blueprints.
• Work well independently and within a team.
• Speak and write well.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; you must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• As an intern, you will report to a Fehr Graham Project Manager on one or several projects.
• Assist with construction observation, including measuring quantities and ensuring standards.
• Review and edit engineering plans to Fehr Graham standards; assist with CAD-based design tasks.
• Participate in office or fieldwork and contribute to project deliverables.
