Job summary

Fehr Graham seeks an eager Civil Engineering intern to work on a variety of municipal and environmental projects in our Schaumburg, IL office. You will learn under a Project Manager, contributing to both office design work and field observations.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a four-year Civil Engineering program, comfortable reading blueprints, and capable of independent work as well as collaboration with engineers and scientists. Growth and hands-on experience are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be familiar with or able to read blueprints.
• Should work well independently and within a team.
• Must speak and write well.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction observation and measuring quantities.
• Review and edit engineering plans to Fehr Graham standards.
• Office or field work; sharpen CAD skills and help deliverables.
