Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) offers Summer 2027 Internship opportunities for students pursuing Civil or Geological Engineering or related fields. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pursuing a Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related degree.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry 30-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing procedures and equipment such as gradations, proctors, nuclear density gauges, field testing, and concrete testing.
• Conduct field testing and observations of construction materials (concrete, soils, aggregate, masonry, asphalt, reinforcing steel).
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and contractors at job sites.
• Additional miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis.
