Fehr Graham in Cedar Rapids, IA is offering an Intern-Summer 2027 in the Engineering department. You will report to a Project Manager on one or more projects, gaining hands-on experience across municipal and environmental engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering.
• Familiar with or able to read blueprints.
• Work well independently and within a team.
• Speak and write well.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Report to a Fehr Graham Project Manager on one or more projects.
• Assist with construction observation and measure quantities.
• Review and edit engineering plans to Fehr Graham standards.
• Office duties to sharpen CAD skills, complete basic design computations and help deliverables.
• Learn engineering standards and how state and local regulations are incorporated into design.
