Fehr Graham provides an internship opportunity for Civil Engineering students in West Union, IA. You will support construction observation, review plans, and sharpen CAD skills while learning from a project team in both office and field settings.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience on municipal and environmental projects, with mentoring and opportunities to develop leadership and technical abilities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate Civil Engineering degree.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Analytical and organizational skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction observation and quantity measurements.
• Review and edit engineering plans to Fehr Graham standards.
• Apply CAD skills to develop deliverables.
• Balance office and field work as required.
• Collaborate with engineers and environmental scientists.
