Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering interns to join our Harrisburg, PA office. This paid/internship position focuses on supporting civil and environmental engineering tasks in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

You will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, and GIS while learning regulatory considerations and project workflows.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering program in an applicable field (Bachelors or Masters).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with technical curiosity.
• Interest in civil/environmental engineering and collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Support pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
• Develop familiarity with applicable regulations and Kimley-Horn processes and standards.
• Interns will learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, and GIS
