Job summary

Kimley-Horn seeks engineering students to join our Houston, TX office for an on-site internship. You will use AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and other tools to analyze, prepare, and QC client deliverables while learning regulations and internal standards.

You will assist with design, planning, permitting, and analysis across multi-project scopes and collaborate with project managers and specialists to bring clients' visions to life.

Qualifications

• Pursuing ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters).
• Majors may include Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Use technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Support pre-construction civil design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis.
• Assist managers and collaborate across disciplines to realize project visions.
• Learn regulations and internal standards applicable to projects.
