Job summary

Kimley-Horn’s Sherman, Texas office is seeking engineering graduates to join our team in 2027. This is not a remote position and new graduates will work on diverse civil engineering projects.

Analysts will use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM and related software to analyze, design and QC deliverables, while learning local regulations and Kimley-Horn's standards. The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, mentorship, and hands-on experience in pre-construction planning

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027.
• Majors include Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical or Agricultural Eng., or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
• Collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for the built environment.
• Learn regulations and Kimley-Horn standards applicable to projects.
