Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Dallas, Texas office in 2027. This is not a remote position and offers exposure to Civil/Environmental disciplines and a range of industry-leading software tools.

Qualified candidates will hold an ABET-accredited engineering degree with a focus on Civil/Environmental fields and related engineering disciplines. You will contribute to design, analysis, and permitting efforts while learning across departments.

Qualifications

  • An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027 in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to solve complex problems and support project managers.
  • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and company practices.
  • Learn software programs specific to disciplines (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, GIS).
