You will contribute to pre-construction design, planning, permitting, and multi-project analysis while learning federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn's internal standards.

Qualifications

  • ABET accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027 in civil/environmental or other listed majors.
  • Majors: Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Develop familiarity with regulations and Kimley-Horn's practices and standards.
  • Learn one or more software programs: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
