Job summary

Kimley-Horn is expanding its Tampa, Florida office and inviting Engineering graduates to join our team in 2026. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will use industry software to analyze and deliver client projects.

You will contribute to pre-construction design, permitting, and multi-disciplinary planning, while learning regulatory requirements and Kimley-Horn's standards. This program targets ABET-accredited degrees and Engineering Technology graduates.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027 in listed majors.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological/Biosystems, Chemical or Agricultural Engineering or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Use software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
  • Solve problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Learn software programs specific to disciplines (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, etc.).
  • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and company practices.

Education

ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Civil Engineering
ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Environmental Engineering
ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Mechanical Engineering
ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Electrical Engineering
ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Biological/Biosystems Engineering
ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Chemical Engineering
ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Agricultural Engineering
