Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Mesa, Arizona office in 2027. This is a non-remote, full-time position located in Mesa, AZ.

Responsibilities include using engineering software to analyze and QC client deliverables, contributing to pre-construction design, and collaborating across disciplines to turn client visions into built environments. Training will cover multiple software packages and regulatory familiarity.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) expected by Summer 2027.
• Degrees listed include Civil and/or Environmental; Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering; or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and company practices and standards.
• Learn one or more discipline-specific software programs (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS).
