Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Woodstock, Georgia office in 2027. This is not a remote position. You will use technical software to analyze and produce deliverables, support pre-construction civil design, and help with permitting and analysis for diverse projects.

Learned engineers collaborate with project managers across disciplines, gaining exposure to regulations, practices, and standards while developing proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, GIS and related tools.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree expected by Summer 2027.
• Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
• Learn software programs specific to disciplines such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
