Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Seattle, WA office in 2027. This is not a remote position.

Analysts will use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, GIS, Open Roads, VISSIM, Synchro, and other tools while contributing to design, planning, permitting, and analysis for diverse projects.

Preferred ABET-accredited degree by Summer 2027 in Civil/Environmental or related fields, with expected salary range around $84,000–$95,500 annually.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree required by Summer 2027.
  • Degree areas include Civil and/or Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
  • Develop familiarity with regulations and Kimley-Horn practices and standards.
  • Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, GIS, and more.
