Job summary

The Walbec Group is seeking an Admin Support Summer 2027 Internship to support testing, documentation, and field operations. You will prepare testing information, project plans, and field materials, and assist with maintaining records and closeout documentation.

You will enter data into DOT databases, help coordinate training for field technicians, and support project managers with data, questions, and daily requests while organizing electronic QC files and project records.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree related to civil engineering or construction management.
• Need to be a self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare testing information, project plans and field materials.
• Assist with maintaining testing records and project closeout documentation.
• Enter and submit testing data into DOT databases as required.
• Help coordinate training and certifications for field technicians.
• Assist with preparing and updating QC plans, manuals and training materials.
• Organize and maintain electronic QC files and project records.
• Support Project Managers and field technicians with testing data, questions and daily requests.
• Assist with scheduling, incentive/disincentive tracking, fleet administration and other Technical Services needs.
