Job summary

Walbec Group offers a Project Manager Summer 2027 Internship for students pursuing Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields. You will assist with scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and coordinating with subcontractors on active projects.

You will gain hands-on site exposure, practice safety and quality control, and collaborate with the project team to support timely delivery of facilities and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project scheduling, coordination, budgets, and weekly schedules.
• Support quantity reporting, cost tracking, labor budgets, and material scheduling.
• Communicate with Construction Managers, subcontractors, and vendors for updates.
• Assist with material requisitions, project documentation, and admin tasks.
• Participate in jobsite visits and observe construction activities and quality.
• Help address delays, weather impacts, and other site challenges.
• Support site safety efforts and participate in meetings with owners and subcontractors.
• Assist with quality control and build positive relationships with customers and team.
