Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a dynamic team in Minnesota. The role partners with city staff to manage multi-discipline projects and lead teams in civil design and construction services for clients primarily in Minnesota.

Ideal candidates hold a P.E. license in Minnesota, have 5+ years in civil infrastructure, and are proficient with AutoCAD and Civil3D while delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions and building long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the design of civil infrastructure.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in Minnesota.
• Experience with public and/or private sector clients.
• Experience in design functions, such as site planning, roads, drainage, grading, water systems, sanitary sewer systems and other municipal and private sector infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D preferred.
• Experience in engineering design, construction inspection, contract administration, project management and business development.
• Has the skill and knowledge to create, suggest, and introduce innovative and effective client solutions and integrated deliverables that are aligned with the Sector business objectives.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work in a team atmosphere and lead/assist M&B D activities as a team for positioning and pursuits of new opportunities.
• Known to be proactive in his/her ability to be a market leader.
• Known for sustaining long-term client relationships.
• Ability to travel to nearby clients as required.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record required.
