Civil Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Manages the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of physical infrastructures. Ensures compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributing to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on complex problems and provides innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions. Mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with the design and construction of facility utilities, environmental systems, and transportation infrastructure
• Experience analyzing the mechanics and properties of soil and rock, and their interaction with structures and underground facilities
• Experience with seismic analysis to predict soil response to weapons effects
• Knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC), UFC, NFPA, ANSI, ASCE, and industry standards for civil and environmental systems
• Knowledge of underground facilities or deeply buried targets
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
• Professional Engineering Certification

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction drawing sets
• Knowledge of civil and environmental compliance within energetic environments
• Master’s degree in Engineering
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
