Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Civil Engineer (P.E.) to work with our Design Services team on land development and power grid resiliency projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. Openings in Bridgeport, WV; Mechanicsburg, PA; and Pittsburgh (Sewickley), PA.

You will lead designs and plans for site layout, grading, erosion control, and post-construction stormwater management, coordinating across disciplines to deliver high-quality civil designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in erosion and sediment control design and post-construction stormwater design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and HydroCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead our current staff on the development of designs and plans related to site layout and grading.
• Develop erosion and sediment control designs and post-construction stormwater management across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare NPDES permit applications and land development applications in accordance with federal, state, and local ordinances.
• Ensure zoning compliance for development projects.
