We are seeking a client-focused engineer with experience and desire to join our municipal engineering team. The Municipal Engineer will develop and maintain client relations, attend meetings (including public input), and work on diverse projects. Exceptional communication skills and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with municipal officials and personnel to meet community needs
• Attend public meetings as a representative of the municipal engineering team
• Conduct or supervise plan reviews for subdivisions and land developments
• Ensure construction compliance with municipal approvals
• Manage and design infrastructure projects (roads, sewer, storm sewer, water, parks)
• Oversee bid specifications and construction management
• Prepare and review cost estimates, proposals, contracts, and reports
• Manage clients and projects
• Mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• At least 7 years of civil engineering experience in municipal projects; PA PE license preferred
• Experience in client relations and business development
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred
• Availability for evening meetings
• Valid driver’s license for site visits and meetings
• Ability to obtain PA Act 34, 114, and 151 clearances
