Job description

LTL Consultants, Ltd. has a full-time job opening in our Oley, PA office for a Civil Engineer / Municipal Engineer.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering/municipal engineering services with a BS in Civil Engineering to join our municipal engineering team. LTL provides consulting engineering services to numerous municipalities in Berks, Carbon, Chester, and Montgomery Counties.

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Essential Duties

• Civil and site design (structural design a plus)
• Ability to manage municipal clients
• Attend municipal meetings
• Stormwater management and erosion and sediment control design
• Review of subdivision and land development plans
• Construction observation and inspection
• PaDEP and PennDOT permit application preparation
• MS4 permit implementation and management
• Municipal ordinance and planning document preparation

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• P.E. License preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid PA Drivers License with an acceptable driving record

Strong emphasis is placed on the ability to effectively communicate technical information, orally and in writing, in a professional manner to contractors, developers, property owners, employees, consultants, other governmental agency representatives, municipal officials, and the public.
