Job summary

NAVFAC Pacific is seeking experienced Civil Engineers to design, evaluate, and manage civil engineering projects for the Navy and Marine Corps, including MILCON and facilities maintenance. You will oversee multi-discipline design work, review contractor submittals, and provide on-site technical leadership.

The role emphasizes independent design, risk identification, and on-time delivery, along with collaboration with private A/E firms and internal teams. SECRET clearance is required with U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
• U.S. citizen 18+ at time of hire.
• Male registry or exempt from Selective Service.

Responsibilities

• Independently create and evaluate engineering designs for site developments, access roads, utility grids, and waterfront structures.
• Provide technical administration and management for multi-discipline design projects, leading design charrettes and managing risks.
• Perform quality reviews on designs from A/E firms and draft statements of work for external services.
• Provide post-award support, resolving RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting site visits.
