Job summary

Tom Trese Civil Engineering is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5–10 years of professional experience to join a growing Massachusetts team. You’ll work on a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, municipal, and land development projects from concept through construction.

Minimum requirements include a B.S. in Civil Engineering and FE/EIT; PE preferred. Opportunities include project leadership, professional development, and licensure support within a well‑established firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Approximately 5–10 years of professional civil engineering experience.
• FE or EIT certification (Massachusetts or transferable).
• Experience with land development, municipal infrastructure, or civil site projects.
• Experience with Massachusetts permitting processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support civil engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Design grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, roadways, and site improvements.
• Support project coordination, schedules, and client communications.
• Assist in permitting and regulatory coordination with MassDEP, MassDOT, and local boards.
• Conduct site visits and provide construction support as needed.
