Job summary

BL Companies in Massachusetts is seeking a Civil Engineer - Project Manager to oversee land development projects from start to finish. You will lead client relationships, direct project execution, and ensure high-quality deliverables within scope, budget, and schedule.

The ideal candidate has a PE license in the state of work and 10+ years of experience, with leadership experience mentoring junior staff. The role collaborates across multiple disciplines, municipalities, and private clients in

Qualifications

PE license required.
10+ years of land development engineering experience.
Proven leadership experience managing full-time staff.
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.
Experience with municipal agencies and private sector clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead design and execution of land development projects.
Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and managing expectations.
Oversee project teams, assign resources, and drive efficiency.
Ensure projects meet all quality, schedule, and budgetary requirements.
Present at public meetings and represent clients before agencies and stakeholders.
Collaborate across multiple disciplines within BL Companies and with external partners.
Mentor junior engineers and staff, fostering a strong learning environment.
