SGM Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer IV for our Gunnison, Colorado office. This role is primarily in-office with regular attendance required at one of our office locations.

The position builds on a strong team focused on land development, infrastructure, and multi-disciplinary projects in Western Colorado. You will lead projects, manage scopes and budgets, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with clients, local governments, ski resorts, and design partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Current Colorado PE or ability to obtain by reciprocity within 90 days.
• Expert in Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develops project scopes and budgets with input from team.
• Lead smaller proposal efforts and assist with others.
• Manage scope, budget, and schedule for small to mid-size projects.
• Lead development of project calculations and deliverables.
• Coordinate with client management and officials as needed.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in team initiatives.
