Day & Zimmermann’s DZMC Engineering team in Greenville seeks a seasoned Civil Engineer 4 to lead medium-sized projects, applying technical expertise to concept-to-completion. You will collaborate with civil, structural, and other disciplines to deliver coordinated engineering solutions that meet standards and client expectations.

The role emphasizes advancing scope development, project management, and quality assurance, with PE licensure and sharp leadership guiding project success.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is strongly preferred.
• Current PE license is required per the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance within civil engineering, ensuring standards are met.
• Lead development and assessment of project scopes and timelines.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts across engineering teams and clients.
• Review design work to ensure codes and constructibility compliance.
• Stamp project documents with PE license when required.
• Manage staffing, budgets, and schedules to deliver projects on time.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster professional growth.
